Lunch & Learn Interview Featuring Dr. Blanche Grube

It’s important to remember that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to dental materials – or dental procedures, for that matter.

Most of us have foreign dental materials in our mouth – but have you ever stopped to consider how they might be impacting your health?

Some of the most common dental procedures that occur during routine dental visits can have a significant impact on your health – and not always in a good way.

Here are 5 of the most common dental procedures and materials that can have negative consequences on the rest of our body:

  1. Root Canal Treatments
  2. Dental Implants
  3. Metal Braces
  4. Porcelain Fused to Metal Crowns
  5. Mercury Dental Amalgam (“Silver Fillings”)

While you may not know exactly what is in your mouth, you can find out what metals you may have in your mouth and have them carefully removed by a biological/holistic dentist.

In this interview conducted by the Million Mom Movement, Dr. Blanche Grube shares her own harrowing health journey and how Dr. Hal Huggins made her question everything she knew about traditional practices in dentistry.

Dr. Blanche  holds a second doctorate in Integrative Medicine from Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Washington, D.C. She also received training in conscious sedation at Albert Einstein Hospital, New York and at St. Joseph’s Hospital, New Jersey. To this, she has added extensive training in homeopathy, nutrition, iridology, colon hydrotherapy, neural therapy and acupuncture.

She discovered early in her work with her mentor, Dr. Huggins, that if she followed his very specific protocol when treating patients, her patients’ health would improve. Dr. Huggins taught her, what is now referred to as the Huggins-Grube Protocol, which includes a complete dental revision. Prior to the death of Dr. Huggins, he passed his torch to Dr. Blanche and she is dedicated to continuing his life’s work through the Huggins-Grube Dental Center.
