In 1996 the Adolph Coors Foundation funded research that paid for blood and other tests on patients before and after amalgam removal. Nothing else was done. These patients could not have root canals, crowns or bridges in their mouths. Serum compatible dental replacements were used, and the patients had IVC protection as well as being in the “Bubble Operatory” a protected dental environment that had negative ion generators, circular walls and ceilings, laminar air flow, filtered air for heating and air conditioning, all of which was housed in a Faraday cage. All of these things greatly reduced patient exposure to mercury during the procedures. No nutritional information was given, or any of the other therapies utilized during the conventional program. This was pretty much measuring the effects of amalgam alone. Patients had at least 3 and no more than 11 amalgams.

The objective was to find what biological areas were affected, so about a quarter million dollars were spent on this testing. Described in this video are some of the more outstanding changes. These included the CBC, blood profiles, urine mercury, blood gases and porphyrins (the basis of most of the energy in the body).

Four test segments were done. An initial, after amalgam removal, (then replacement of amalgam) testing again, then a second removal of amalgam and final testing. (Imagine volunteering for that type of study).

Hemoglobin changes, porphyrin and white blood cells showed highly significant changes, but the most surprising to the doctors was that cholesterol moved in according to the presence or absence of amalgam. Testimonials from some of the patients in the study are presented at the end of the video.
