Lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that in many cases responds to the protocol procedures. There is a marker for this disease called the ANA titer, or antinuclear antibody. As the titer increases, the disease has progressed. We have seen titers drop to zero within three months and sometimes it requires six months to get to that level. Much depends upon how closely the patient adheres to the dietary suggestions; for things like coffee and other caffeine products will increase recovery time.
